Transformative Conversation on Equity and Employability

In November, QA Commons participated in the Gardner Institute’s Transformative Conversations series. The Equity and Employability conversation provided multiple perspectives on student employability and featured:

• Victoria McGillin, Senior Vice President at the Gardner Institute
• Sonny Ramaswamy, President of the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities
• Michelle Deasy, Vice President of the QA Commons
• Stephen Murray, Professor of Communication and Organizational Leadership at Murray State University.

Guests shared success stories, attributes of the post-completion equity gaps, as well as ideas for participants to consider in their own work, applicable to any institution.
