Sheila Chandrasekhar is the Director of Communications for The Quality Assurance Commons. For over 25 years, Sheila has run Persuasive Pages, which specializes in content strategy consulting, executive communication, technical and marketing writing and editing, and instructional design. She has produced materials for clients in academic, engineering, high tech, municipal, military, non-profit, and scientific arenas. Audiences have ranged from industry peers in those fields to policy-makers and the public. Her interests in “life-long learning” include developing training curricula for web-based, self-paced, and instructor-led delivery methods. Sheila currently serves as an editor on the production team for the first book on atmospheric rivers to be published in 2019; authorship of this significant contribution to global climate change studies comprises 20+ international experts. She also helps edits a UC Davis-based, peer-reviewed e-journal about CA water policy and estuary science. She earned a BA in Western Literature from Mills College and an MLA from Stanford University.
