Simon Boehme


Simon Boehme is an independent consultant based in San Francisco, California and serves as the Advisor for Student Engagement for The Quality Assurance Commons. He recently graduated from Maynooth University in Ireland as a Mitchell Scholar where he studied for Masters degree. He graduated from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Simon is also a Truman Scholar.

In 2009, Simon was appointed by Secretary Arne Duncan for a six year term to serve on the U.S. Department of Education’s National Advisory Committee for Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI). He was a guest lecturer for the Department of Law and Business School at Maynooth University and the School of Business at National University of Ireland Galway. In 2010, Simon led his high school to win the first White House Race to the Top Commencement Challenge. He enjoys golfing, hiking, and sailing in his spare time. Simon was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
